For Sale: 1964 Ford Falcon Futura in Alpharetta, Georgia

Vehicle Description

AWESOME 1964 FORD FALCON CONVERTIBLE, NICELY RESTORED WITH A BUILT 302 V-8, 4-SPEED, AND ICE COLD A/C....GREAT STANCE AND SOUND, READY TO SHOW AND GO!!!!

MAKE SURE YOU WATCH THE VIDEO TO SEE AND HEAR HOW GREAT THIS FALCON SOUNDS!!!

This Raven Black beauty is believed to have spent its whole life in North Carolina before I purchased it and brought it to the Atlanta GA area.  We were told it received a nice restoration about 10 years ago at which time the motor was upgraded to a very nicely built 302 V8 mated to a smooth shifting 4-speed.  This sweet little convertible muscle car has had about 8800 miles put on it since the restoration and still looks great and will be a crowd pleaser at the local shows and cruise-ins and will plant a smile on the drivers face from ear to ear every time he or she takes it out for a drive. I will do my best to provide you with enough large images, a video so you can hear it start up and running and an honest description to help you decide if this Falcon should be in your garage. I am also a transport broker so I can assist out of state buyers with a great rate on Enclosed Transport anywhere in the US. I also welcome overseas buyers and can assist in getting the car to the port of your choice.

The body on this '64 Convertible is in fantastic condition. Very straight body panels with excellent panel gaps and fit. This car was originally delivered to the Charlotte, NC District and is believed to have spent most, if not all of its life in North Carolina. As a result body panels are extremely solid. At the time of restoration the owner decide to treat this car to a beautiful Raven Black paint job that still looks great.  Beautiful stainless and chrome trim.  Although not flawless, this convertible is definitely an eye catcher that will win its share of trophies at the local events. There may be a few really tiny rock chips, one really tiny bubble at the lower corner of the passenger door, and a very small paint blemishes that most people would never notice. Glass all looks great and windows roll up and down nicely. Door fit is great. I hope you will enjoy this convertible with the top down as much as possible but when needed, this Falcon also has a Power convertible top that appears to have been replaced at the tie of restoration and functions well and seals up nicely.  The white top is a great accent color and there Is a black boot cover included for a clean look when the top is down.  Overall, the body and paint really look fantastic as I think you will see in the photo tour of the body.

Complimenting the Raven black exterior is a super nice black interior that has lots of originality and still really comfy. The split bench seat up front allows you to pull your loved one close to you. Door panels and carpeting are in great condition. Steering wheel with the Chrome Sprint horn ring looks great. Gauges all appear to be working correctly and are very clear.  Hurst 4-speed shifter comfortably positioned for some spirited driving.  For those of you int he warmer climates who need ice cold A/c in their convertibles, this one will keep you cold thanks to the under dash A/C that was added and works great.  I think you will find the interior to have a great original look and be in great overall condition.

As good as this Falcon looks it runs and drives even better. Super strong, built 302 V8 was added and is believed to have just under 8900 miles since the build.  Although I do not have details on the motor I would estimate horsepower at 275-300 hp and it has a slight cam but very street friendly. Edelbrock performer intake and 4bbl Carburetor feed the fuel and a set of headers breathe out through the dual exhaust that has a great muscle car rumble but not too loud. Power brakes stop this Falcon with ease and steering is tight and true.  Engine bay is nicely dressed out with Cobra valve covers and air cleaner and you will be proud to pop the hood at the shows and cruise-ins. Suspension feels great and this lightweight Falcon handles the road nicely and has lots of stop light to stoplight fun with the powerful 302 and 4-speed. You can also cruise with ease at highway speeds with 3.50 gearing in the rear end. Great stance with a nice set of American Racing Torque thrust D gray spoke wheels wrapped in BFG Radial TA rubber with tons of tread left.    Undercarriage and floorpans are rock solid with no rust issues. Inside of trunk is also rock solid.  This is a super fun, drop top, that you will have a blast driving and will not see many like it on the road.  Make sure you listen to the video to hear this Falcon start up and running.

Asking price is $29,500 and serious buyers can reach me at 770-359-8400 with any questions.
