Vehicle Description
This 1954 Buick Skylark was purchased in California as a maroon
model and underwent a 2-year, frame-off, nut-and-bolt restoration
to its original specifications. This Skylark retains its original
322ci V8 Nailhead engine mated to Dynaflow automatic transmission,
and the correct Delco Remy battery. Other features include
Kelsey-Hayes chrome spoke wheels with wide whitewall tires, a white
vinyl power convertible top with contrasting boot and power seats,
brakes, windows, steering and antenna. The steering wheel is a
flexible Banjo-type with steel spokes, and it has its factory AM
clock radio. The hood ornament is unique to the 1954 Skylark and
was adopted in 1955 across the Buick production line. This Buick is
finished in Tunis Blue over matching two-tone genuine leather seats
bolstered in the correct waffle fabric. The paint, brightwork,
interior and engine bay are in good condition, and the chrome was
redone. One of 836 Skylarks produced in 1954, it has 58 miles since
being restored.
