Vehicle Description
This steel, national award-winning Ford is a professionally built
custom that began with a straight and solid Dearborn-Deuce body
coated in House of Kolor Kandy Wine and PPG Orion Silver two-stage
paint. Under the hood resides a 427ci Ford V8 engine that's been
rebuilt and polished, and is mated to a 3-speed automatic
transmission. The center oiler twists 10:1 compression into 428
dyno-proven horsepower and 485 ft/lbs of torque. The torque is
delivered through a Green Dot C4, which is threaded to a Speedway
Engineering Super Max quick-change rear end finished with 3.70
gears and a posi-traction differential. Those mechanicals ride a
boxed TCI chassis that, extended 4", rolls a polished Mustang II
front clip in front of a polished 4-bar rear clip. Modern rack &
pinion steering leads polished Wilwood calipers, which clamp 11"
drilled and slotted rotors. It rides on polished Bonspeed Delta
wheels and BFGoodrich G-Force T/A tires. Inside this roadster,
ostrich complements rich leather. A broad Wide Guys bench backs a
familiar Lokar shifter. A custom dash hangs Classic Instruments
American Muscle telemetry above Vintage Air and buttons for modern
power windows. In front of the driver is a polished steering wheel
with a leather-wrapped rim around a tilting Ididit column. The
