the Sapphire blue, chromed wheels, dark blue cloth top and the
ivory leather interior is the best combination I have ever seen!
Has original sales brochure, glovebox pouch with the manuals,
Carfax and invoice. Cost new $74,985 18 years ago.
EXTERIOR: The Sapphire blue paint is gorgeous. Has the optional 18
inch wheels which the owner had chrome plated. The top is a rich
dark blue German cloth with glass window. I just did a walk around
and this Jaguar looks brand new outside. I dont see a flaw
anywhere. Paint and body look pristine. Even up front, no stone
chips, headlights are crystal clear. The headlights even have
washers that pop out. Power antenna works. The glass, rubber, jambs
are mint. The chrome wheels still look new. Tires were recently
replaced.
INTERIOR: Very luxurious interior. Not to sound weird, but the
Connolly leather is so silky smooth I love touching it. Full power
accessories including tilt and telescoping steering wheel, one
touch windows, rain sensing wipers, power heated mirrors. Has
heated seats with multi power positions including lumbar.
Everything can be preset with memory settings. Has the factory
premium stereo with CD changer. The top is so easy, one button does
everything from lowering the windows and even unlatching from the
windshield. Has an easy to install top boot. Plenty of room for
6ft+ people in front. Rear seat- not so much. There is burlwood
trim throughout. Steering wheel is a combination of burl and soft
leather. It is practically brand new inside. It has many luxuries
and everything seems to be functioning properly too. Includes 2
keys with leather tags and remote fobs.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: The power comes from a smooth running all
aluminum 4.0 V-8 with electronic fuel injection, dual overhead cams
and 32 valves. The motor compartment is new looking, it was
literally wiped with a micro fiber towel.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Pop the trunk right from the key fob. Inside you
will find it is fully lined including the bottom of the trunk lid.
It includes a genuine Jaguar XK8 umbrella, Jaguar car cover, first
aid kit, CD changer and cargo net. There is a new package of Jaguar
locking lug nuts. Under the floor is the never been used spare.
UNDERSIDE: Even the bottom of this car looks practically new. The
assembly line markings and stickers are still in place. No wonder
it is so quiet, it has it's genuine Jaguar stainless system with a
large central muffler and 2 more individuals. The incredibly smooth
ride is from the front and back sport tuned independent suspension.
It has auto stability and traction control. Upfront it has power
assisted, speed sensitive rack & pinion steering. There are ABS
ventilated disc brakes at all 4 corners. The 5-speed automatic has
a sport mode. It is obvious this car has been a nice day driver,
certainly never seen snow.
This car drives amazingly smooth. Really, I can't get over how
smooth it is. It is effortless to operate, it goes over bumps like
it's floating. Personally, I think it is the best combination of
colors I have seen on any car!
