Overview:

Here is a very rare find for any vintage V8 Ford fanatic. It is probably one of the most original 1936 Ford "model 68" 4dr sedans in the country. The car has a lot of original paint, all original interior and only 32K original miles. The miles are documented by the general original condition of the car and all the original oil change stickers on the driver's door jams. This car came out of an estate or collection I believe and was clearly extremely well preserved. It has its original flathead V8 engine that runs excellent and shifts smooth. The body is solid as a rock and completely rust free. To find a original 36 Ford like this, is quite rare as most have been hot rodded, restored or sitting in a junk yard. This beauty is truly a car that needs to be preserved. To top it all off, it runs and drives like a nice original car should!

Options/Equipment:

  • 221ci Flathead V8 Engine
  • 3-Speed Manual Transmission
  • Wiper
  • White Wall Tires
  • Etc....

Exterior:

This 36 Ford really shows beautifully. It has what I would say is about 70 percent original paint still on the car that still looks amazing after all these years. It has what looks to be its original red pin stripping that is still there. What has been repainted on the car matches the original paint very well. The body is straight as an arrow with excellent fit and finish. It is a completely rust free car from top to bottom. All the chrome and trim is in nice original condition. All off the glass is original to the car and marked Ford. The windshield has so delamination on the edges and the driver's side, side glass has a small crack. I would leave it all the way it is as it gives the car patina. The original vinyl top is excellent and the original rubber running boards are still very nice. It is sitting on its original wheels and hubcaps with wide white wall tires. The tires are a few years old but still very nice.

Interior:

It has a completely all original interior that looks amazing for its age. It still retains its original mohair seats that look great with some age spots showing on both the front and rear seats, but nothing major. The carpet and rubber floor mat is original and excellent. The dash and gauge cluster is nice, bright and clean. The original steering wheel in very nice with one small flaw. Even the headliner, door panels and rear pull curtain is in great condition.

Mechanically:

The car runs and drives excellent. It has its original 221ci flathead V8 engine with smooth shifting 3-speed manual transmission. Under the hood is all original and very clean. It truly runs and drives like a nice, untouched, original low mileage car should. It is very quiet, tight and a pleasure to drive!
