Vehicle Description
This 1997 Dodge Viper GTS features multiple Archer Racing upgrades
at a total cost of $98,280. This documented build is powered by a
Team Viper/ORCA 8.0-liter 10-cyliner engine and a 6-speed manual
transmission, and has 1,011 actual miles since new. Upgrades were
performed at 900 miles. It comes equipped with Moton shocks and
Eibach springs with adjustable sway bars, newly installed 6-piston
Baer brakes, Quaife differential with heavy-duty half-shafts, and a
biplane rear wing with carbon-fiber splitter upfront. Other
features include K&N intake, high-performance radiator, tri-Y
headers with high-temp coating and complete high-temp coating of
the Borla exhaust system, aluminum flywheel with heavy-duty clutch
and fuel pump upgrade. It's riding on authentic titanium wheels.
The inside features a Viper Ripper shifter with skip shift removal
and Viper GTS-R interior. The modifications were installed by
Archer Brothers Racing in Duluth, MN, with oversite by Tommy
Archer, who is one of the top professional road racers in America.
Although set up for the track, it has never been tracked or raced.
The engine was rebuilt by the crew at Team Viper who built the
