One of 1,420 produced, this 1974 Oldsmobile W-25 Hurst Indy 500
Pace Car is powered by an upgraded, rebuilt 455ci engine with W-30
exhaust manifolds and upgraded HEI ignition, backed by a factory
Turbo automatic transmission and limited-slip rear differential. It
has 15,576 original miles (the title reads mileage exempt) and
features the Indy 500 Hurst padded roof option, Hurst Performance
package, Rally suspension, dual exhaust, factory Indy 500 decal
package and a factory induction hood with gold package. It's
equipped with a Toronado dual snorkel air cleaner, power steering
and all-new brakes, and the complete fuel system has been replaced.
The interior features new upholstery on the factory bucket seats,
factory console with Hurst shifter, tilt steering column with a
Rally steering wheel, Rally gauges, Fuel Minder vacuum gauge,
factory cassette player and new carpet. This pace car rides on
restored factory Hurst Rally wheels with new BFGoodrich tires and
has less than 100 miles since all work was completed.
