started prowling the streets some 49 years ago. With clean styling
that was heavily influenced by European design, the Camaro became
the ultimate escape pod for restless teens during the 1970's and
1980's. Our clean 1981 Camaro Z/28 is a fine example of the last
year for the second generation Camaro with only 53,100 miles. The
original window sticker shows a long list of standard and optional
equipment including power steering, power front disc brakes, power
windows (A31), air conditioning (C60), 5.7 liter V8 (LM1),
automatic transmission (MX1), special sport suspension, adjustable
driver's seat back (AN6), tinted glass (AO1), removable glass roof
panels (CC1), intermittent windshield wipers (CD4), electric rear
window defogger (C49), cruise control (K35), Comfortilt steering
wheel (N33), halogen headlamps (TT4), dual horns (UO5), AM/FM
stereo with cassette tape (UN3), style trim group (Z21), and the
beige custom cloth bucket seat interior (63C). The interior, trim,
glass, and dash are well preserved and provide an accurate glimpse
of 1981. A great car that's sure to appreciate in the future.
