the market! Cadillac Eldorado Seville Background: One can only
imagine the stress for the Cadillac design team after the 1959
debuted to the public. Although it is considered one of the most
desired cars among Cadillac collectors today, the 1959 model was
extremely audacious for potential car buyers during the day! Its
wild charisma wasnt for everyone, and may have turned many longtime
Cadillac enthusiasts from showrooms. The answer in 1960 was a
milder, more subdued design to woe traditional buyers back. They
could not have been timelier in that decision, but sadly,1960 would
mark the end of the Eldorado Seville Hardtop Coupe, tri-carburetion
engines, and air ride suspension. The 1960 top of the line Eldorado
models now rivals several model series as one of the most desirable
Cadillacs to own today! Only 1,075 Eldorado Seville Hardtop Coupes
would find garages. Cadillac Eldorado Seville Info: We are excited
to offer this 1960 Cadillac Eldorado Seville Hardtop
Coupecosmetically restored tofactory specifications including its
repainted Olympic White (color code 12) exterior with Red/White

for the past 12 years. Approximately 15 years ago, it was repainted
professionally with superb results! The interioriscoveredin all
soft leather and showing some minimal visual wear. The massive
amounts of chrome and stainless bright work are all in excellent
condition! Upon arrival to the St. Louis Car Museum & Sales, we
elected to rebuild the brakes with new brake master cylinder, all
wheel cylinders, brake fluid & front shoes; new valve cover
gaskets, replaced the engine oil & filter, restored the HVAC dash
vacuum system & converted the factory air conditioning system to
R134a to be fully functional blowing cold air; replaced the
transmission output shaft seal, new speedometer adapter o-ring, new
transmission pan gasket & transmission fluids; front wheel oil
seals, idler arm, bracket & bushings, lubed u-joints; new hood
insulation, and then give this Cadillac a complete carburetor tune
up and complete detailing from top to bottom. This elective service
was only due to the car being used very infrequently this past
couple of years and now starts, runs, and drives with total ease!
Quite the head turner as well! It remains absolutely solid
underneath with outstanding panel fitment and gaps! Modifications
do include upgraded audio system with Pioneer CD player and
upgraded speakers, along with a tachometer located in the factory
dash clock position. One of the hardest cars to find on the
Cadillac market, and even harder in this condition! Named by
CarLife magazine in 1960 as the Best buy in the luxury car field!
