Vehicle Description
This 1974 Pontiac Trans Am Resto-Mod is finished in custom Candy
Apple Red metallic over Black Pearl paint and features a custom
Shaker-type hood scoop integrated into the stock hood. It was a
body-off build, and the underbody, firewall and wheel wells were
painted to match the body color or were powder-coated to accent the
overall look. The entire suspension was upgraded to Hotchkis sport
suspension with air ride in the rear, the braking system was
upgraded to a Wilwood 4-wheel disc setup, and the rear end was
upgraded to a Moser with posi-traction. Its 455ci Pontiac engine
has been bored, stroked and balanced, and is backed by a Turbo 400
automatic transmission with a 2000 rpm stall speed. The engine is
equipped with HEI MSD billet ignition and an aluminum Be Cool
radiator with twin SPAL electric fans. The custom interior features
two modified Mercedes SL bucket seats, completely rebuilt dash,
center console that runs from front to back, and a complete Alpine
in-dash touchscreen navigation sound system. All of the new Dakota
Digital gauges are now center-mounted with MasterShift controls
mounted in the center console, which include the push-button start,
push-button shift and power window controls. The console features
an electric slide cover that covers the controls for a clean look.
The entire interior has been finished in black and tan leather.
