Vehicle Description
This 1962 Pro-Touring-style Corvette was professionally built with
the newest 6.2-liter LT1 direct-injected Corvette engine that
produces 460hp and 465 ft/lbs of torque, backed by a 4L70E 4-speed
automatic transmission. It has an Art Morrison C7 chassis, fully
adjustable ride height and coilovers. The frame was painted to
match the body. It has big Wilwood brakes with C7 6-piston calipers
in front and 4-piston in the rear. It rides on 18" Budnik Crown
wheels and shaved tires with added whitewalls for a custom look. It
also has power rack & pinion steering, a Tanks Inc. in-tank fuel
system, custom wiring harness and GM factory-programmed computer.
The body was completely brought down to fiberglass and prepped
before being finished in 2019 Watkins Glen Gray Paint and High
Solids Clear. The same attention to detail was performed on the
underside of the car, which was painted with a black bed liner
coating. All body gaps are good, body panels are laser-straight,
and the fit and finish is done well. It has a new stereo system
with Bluetooth, amplifier, subwoofer and Arc Audio speakers. The
convertible top was completely restored and a black canvas top was
added. This custom 'Vette has over 2,500 hours in its build, with
only test miles since its completion.
