Vehicle Description
This HEMI Cuda was professionally built in western New York.
Starting with a rust-free small V8 Barracuda convertible, no
expense was spared to build a Resto-Mod with upgraded performance
capabilities. A modern Chrysler powertrain was utilized to attain
peak performance without the hassle of special fuel. The complete
6.1-liter HEMI engine and matching overdrive automatic transmission
from a late-model Dodge Challenger SRT were utilized, and
additional horsepower comes from the ProCharger supercharger fitted
to the car. All engine management electronics were also utilized
from the donor Challenger for ease of tuning, maintenance and
troubleshooting. Suspension, brakes, gauges and all audio equipment
are top-of-the-line components. Nice paint work and numerous
styling modifications are topped off by a custom black cloth power
convertible top. The interior was done in black leather with a full
custom state-of-the-art gauge insert in the stock dash.
Custom-fitted, special-order wheels were supplied by Fesler to
finish off the look of this Cuda. Only a few careful miles have
been driven since this car's completion.
