Vehicle Description
This Jeep is powered by a 350ci V8 Chevy engine bored .30 over,
mated to an all-original 3-speed T15 manual transmission and
transfer case with new bearings. The transmission has a new second
gear and synchronizers. The full-box frame and the differentials
are both from a 1979 CJ5 and both differentials have all-new seals
and filled synthetic lube. This CJ5 has 487X cylinder heads with
all-new valves, seats, and springs and front disc brakes. It had a
complete head job with port work, has aluminum Edelbrock intake
with 650 Holley carburetors and a Super Stock Torque camshaft. The
1974 original body is all steel and was built from the ground up
using all-new sheet metal and floors. It has Spider front fenders
and rear flares reworked to look smoother and clean. The frame and
underside of body are POR15 coated and bed lined on the inside of
the tub. The interior features new bucket race seats with 5-point
harness seat belts, a custom roll cage made from chromoly steel and
Pioneer stereo and CD with Alpine Amp 12" MTX speakers. It rides on
35" Dick Cepeck tires and has a spare. The front and rear tubular
bumpers are custom-made. It has LED lights and blinkers and 4x4
with lockout hubs. It is a fresh build with less than 500 miles
since its completion.
