Vehicle Description
This authentic 1967 Chevrolet Corvette 427 coupe is the real deal
and a documented one-owner car until 2010. This car was verified in
November 2018 by Corvette expert Roy Sinor, and a copy of his
report is included. As documented on 1967 Corvette dealer order
form #59664, this car was ordered on November 11, 1966, by salesman
E.R. Morris Jr. of Morris Chevrolet in King George, VA, for local
customer Janis "John" Jablovskis. John took delivery on February
16, 1967. The car retains its original color of Marlboro Maroon
with black standard interior. It was ordered with AM-FM radio,
tinted glass, 427-390hp V8 Turbojet engine, 4-speed close-ratio
manual transmission and posi-traction rear axle. This car was
restored many years ago by the well-known Roberts Corvette Center.
Since completion, the car has been in the original owner's and
second owner's possession with limited exposure. It's achieved an
NCRS Regional Top Flight Award in 2014, which is accompanied by
NCRS letter of congratulations by Co-Judging Chairman Joel
Stieglitz. The car scored a 96.8, and afterwards additional items
were corrected so it would score a higher at the next event. Unlike
most Corvettes, this car has tons of original documentation,
including the dealer order form, two dealer Bill of Sales, dealer
tax receipt, Window Sticker, dealer car owner's companion pouch,
owner's manual, protection plan warranty booklet with metal
protector plate, AM/FM radio operating manual, wheel trim ring
instruction card, glovebox tire pressure sticker and 17 inspection
receipts from 1967-80. Other documentation includes restoration
receipts, photos of before and during restoration, notarized signed
affidavit from August 26, 2010, by original owner stating he was
the original owner of the car, copies of transaction including Bill
of Sale to second owner, signed photo of original owner with car
after sale, and second owner title application and inspection
sheets. The exterior body is very straight, and the Marlboro Maroon
paint is show-quality. The black Stinger really pops. The car sits
on Firestone Deluxe Champion red line tires. The standard black
interior is in excellent condition. Everything is in working order,
including the clock. The engine compartment is very detailed and is
home to the original matching-numbers 427/390hp V8. The engine runs
and performs great. The engine is coupled to the original
matching-numbers 4-speed close-ratio manual transmission and rear
end. The undercarriage is very clean and presentable. This
two-owner car has 78,938 original miles. Some original parts are
included. It has been serviced and detailed, which is documented
with an invoice that is included.
