Vehicle Description
This 1966 Pontiac GTO convertible is a factory Tri-Power, automatic
vehicle painted in the original Turquoise exterior/interior color
using base coat/clear coat paint. The power convertible top has
been changed to white instead of the factory turquoise top color.
This frame-off-restored convertible sports factory date-coded Rally
wheels fitted with red line radial tires, Rally gauges with
tachometer, factory console with vacuum gauge, original door and
side panels, tilt steering column, factory headrest seats with
passenger recliner seat, original deluxe retracting seatbelts,
day/night rearview mirror and remote door mirror. It's powered by
its freshly rebuilt, original date-coded 389ci Tri-Power engine and
Powerglide automatic transmission. The restoration included
recoring the original radiator, rebuilding the power steering box
to quick steering specs, and restoring the spring ring battery
cables, fan shroud and clutch, tri-power finger guard, date-coded
spark plug wires, and coded radiator hoses and clamps.
