Vehicle Description
This 1969 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray has less than 28,000 original
miles (the title reads mileage exempt) and has had just two owners.
A correct Burgundy repaint was performed with attention to detail.
This Corvette is powered by a matching-numbers 350/300hp 8-cylinder
engine mated to an automatic transmission. It is factory equipped
with air conditioning, power windows, power brakes, power steering,
AM/FM radio and a telescoping steering wheel. It was sold new by
Mills Chevrolet in August 1969 and spent 25 years of its life
stored in Arizona before being moved to Oklahoma. It comes with its
original owner's manual, records of the restoration and many
registration receipts. The basic engine for the 1969 was a very
healthy 350/300hp V8. Disc brakes at all four wheels remained
standard. Road grabbing 15-inch-wide ovals plus new 8-inch-wide
wheels and wider tread gave the Stingray a better grip. Other
subtle, but significant refinements include a stronger, more rigid
frame for improved ride and handling, new maximum security 3-way
locking system on the steering column and unique headlight washers
that even clean in motion with jets of water.
