Vehicle Description
This frame-off-restored F-6 stake-bed truck was upgraded for safety
and drivability. A modern 460ci V8 big-block engine was installed
with a heavy-duty C6 automatic transmission. The engine is
outfitted with Edelbrock carburetor, aluminum intake and electronic
ignition. The transmission has a Lokar shifter. The power brakes
were recently gone through completely. A modern mini fuse wiring
harness was installed and the entire system was upgraded to 12-volt
and has an internally regulated alternator. All of the window seals
and felts were replaced with correct restoration parts. The side
glass is custom smoked for UV protection.
