Vehicle Description
This 1976 Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser has been restored and customized
for off-road motoring. It is powered by a 350ci V8 small-block
Chevy engine mated to a 4-speed manual transmission. The engine is
equipped with MSD electronic ignition, Accel super coil, Edelbrock
carburetor and manifold, Spectre cold-air induction and aluminum
valve covers. This Resto-Mod features 4-wheel drive with heavy-duty
axles and hubs, and was lifted for good ground clearance. It rides
on polished alloy wheels with BFGoodrich raised-white-letter
off-road mud and snow tires. It features a remote-operated WARN
electric winch mounted on a custom front bumper. 1976 was the first
year that Land Cruisers received disc brakes, and this Cruiser's
were upgraded for stopping ability. This Toyota has had a complete
repaint in the original Toyota Blue with a removable white hardtop.
It has all-new trim, emblems, lenses and antenna, a custom stereo
system, bucket seats, leather-wrapped sport steering wheel and a
factory roll bar. The custom rear bumper has a towing package and
rear spare tire carrier.
