This custom 1957 Chevrolet stepside pickup has 54 test miles since
its completion, which started with a barn-found original California
truck. The chassis is custom and fully boxed and painted. The front
clip is custom and painted to match the chassis. Suspension
includes front Strong Arm upper and lower control arms, a fully
adjustable 4-link rear suspension with a Shockwave Air Ride, Air
Ride Technologies air-management system and twin air compressors.
This truck rides on 20" rear and 18" front tires, and sports a GM
12-bolt posi-traction rear end, highway friendly 3.23 gears and
Baer 4-wheel disc brakes. Powering this truck is a 350ci Chevy V8
crate engine with a Weiand supercharger and stainless-steel
exhaust, coupled to an automatic transmission. Additional features
include all-new wiring, quick-ratio power steering, aluminum
radiator, copper lines, real leather interior, classic Mercedes
box-weave carpet, So Cal custom gauges, Banjo steering wheel, tilt
wheel, Lokar parking brake, a custom audio system and a Texas red
oak wood bed.
