The IROC-Z was one of the sportiest Camaros of the '80s, and this
1988 Chevrolet Camaro IROC-Z Convertible is a pristine survivor.
Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to offer this truly unique
1988 Chevrolet Camaro IROC-Z Convertible. While most of these cars
were run hard and abused, this IROC-Z is a one-owner car with
36,116 documented miles on the odometer, and the overall condition
of the car backs this up. Even better, this is just one of less
than 4,000 Camaro IROC-Z Convertibles ever produced... 3,971 to be
exact! The IROC-Z already had a menacing look to it with the hood
louvers and five-spoke alloy wheels, but this car looks even meaner
with its black-on-black top and paint. Inside, the 1988 Chevrolet
Camaro IROC-Z Convertible had a sporty interior that mixed black
leather with grey cloth on the seats, a three-spoke steering wheel
and a speedometer that maxed out at 115 mph. Powering this Camaro
IROC-Z is the 305 CID V8, which was rated at 195 hp and 295 lb-ft
of torque when equipped with the 700R4 four-speed automatic
transmission; output 220 hp and 290 lb-ft of torque with the manual
transmission. If you're a fan of the fourth-gen Camaro, then you
don't want to miss the chance to own this rare and well-preserved
1988 Chevrolet Camaro IROC-Z Convertible. Options on this 1988
Chevrolet Camaro IROC-Z Convertible include air conditioning, AM/FM
radio, cassette, manual convertible top, cruise control, power
brakes, power steering, power seats, power windows, seat belts,
cloth and leather interior, aluminum alloy wheels and radial tires.
