Vehicle Description
After a 25 year production run, the original Range Rover was
replaced by an all new version code named P38. Launched at the end
of 1994, the new model was a step up in luxury accommodations and
performance. It offered three revised engine choices, the top of
which was a 4.6l V8 that produced 224 horsepower. Some customers
wanted a little more power and exclusivity so they turned to
Callaway Engineering, a company know for their Porsche and Corvette
monsters. The Callaway-branded mills got a higher compression
ratio, and re-flowed cylinder heads, a fatter intake pipe, and a
better breathing cat-back dual exhaust for good measure. The
results were just a little more extra power at 240hp. The
suspension was re-tuned and a bit of Callaway exterior cues were
added throughout. The grill, bumpers, mirror housings, and
headlight surrounds were all painted body color. It is said that
there were just 220 Callaway Range Rovers built.

Callaway for your consideration. Finished in Niagara Gray, this car
is in nice shape overall. The paint has a fair amount of weathering
but still has nice gloss overall. The exterior is bolstered by 18in
Proline alloy wheels, side steps, bullbar with Hella lights,
headlight wipers, dual exhausts, trailer hitch, tinted window, rear
light guards, and rain guards. The black leather interior is very
nice and has very little wear. The seats are comfortable and are
powered. The car also has power windows, power locks, power
moonroof, power mirrors, premium audio, and dual zone climate
control.
If you are looking for a tough all terrain vehicle with just a
little bit of exclusivity, this is the car for you. It spent its
life in warm Texas and North Carolina with its four previous
owners. A clean carfax also shows that a number of service work was
performed. The original air suspension was also swapped out for
more durable conventional springs and shocks. The car comes with
floor mats, owners manuals, and two keys!
