A true GTO with "237" VIN, Tri-Power carburetor setup and 4-speed
manual transmission. Redesigned from the previous year, the '65
model year experienced an increase in the overall length of the
vehicle, blacked out "egg crate" grille, implementation of the
iconic vertically-oriented quad headlights, and a simulated hood
scoop. On the inside the dashboard was also redone.This particular
example is even equipped with the tachometer and oil pressure
gauges found in the rally gauge pack. Underneath, heavy-duty shocks
were fitted to all GTOs as standard equipment along with a stronger
