Vehicle Description
This 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle custom coupe was built by American
Muscle Cars and is powered by an LS3 engine, which generates an
estimated 525hp. It was featured on the 10th season of "Chop Cut
Rebuild" and was revealed at SEMA in 2014. It took a full year for
the build to be completed and virtually everything is custom,
including the body panels. The red exterior is complemented by a
red leather interior. Both front and rear seats are original 1967
Chevelle seats that have been reshaped and rebuilt. The front bench
seat surrounds a stock 1967 Chevelle shifter attached to a Tremec
T56 Super Magnum 6-speed manual transmission. The bumpers are
tucked and shaved, the hood is a one-off custom piece and the
interior was crafted using HushMat to minimize road noise. The car
sits on an ABC performance suspension and custom wheels with red
line tires and 6-piston Wilwood brakes. Wider rear wheel tubs
accommodate the oversized rear wheels. The rear suspension was
completed with a Currie 9" differential. MagnaFlow supplied the
exhaust system, including headers and mufflers. This Chevelle also
features Nu-Relic power windows, power steering on a Flaming River
tilt steering column, Vintage Air and an Audio Shoppe sound system.
