Vehicle Description
This 1965 Corvette LS3 has undergone a full frame-off build with
only test miles since its completion. The body is finished in the
original Nassau Blue with a blue and white interior. Its power
comes from a LS3 6.2-liter engine with custom-built intake from LS
Classics, keeping with the original theme. Custom-milled valve
covers and valley plate with oil fill have been installed on the
painted aluminum engine; and coils relocated with custom brackets.
The engine is backed by a 6-speed automatic transmission and a
modified stock power-glide shifter. It's also equipped with a
Concept One accessory drive kit and Vintage Air. The engine bay has
been smoothed and filled but painted satin black for a clean OEM
look. Custom cast-iron exhaust manifolds flow into factory side
pipes. Front and rear bumpers have been sectioned and fit tight to
the body, and are refinished in beautiful chrome. This car is
sitting on a custom Hammertone powder-coated original chassis with
QA1 coilovers at all four corners, as well as Van Steel offset
trailing arms and tubular A-arms up front, and huge Wilwood brakes
front and rear with drilled 2-piece rotors. It's riding on 17"
knock-off wheels that were custom-milled and polished by Curtis
Speed, and are wrapped with red line tires.
