Vehicle Description
This 1960 Pro-Touring-style Corvette was professionally built with
the new 6.2-liter LT1 direct-injected Corvette engine that produces
535hp, 470 ft/lbs of torque and a 4L75E automatic transmission. It
has an Art Morrison C7 chassis, fully adjustable ride height and
JRI coilovers. The frame was powder-coated in a shade of silver to
match the cove color. The braking power is provided by Wilwood with
C7 6-piston calipers, 14" rotors and stainless-steel brake lines.
It also has power rack & pinion steering, Aeromotive 340 Phantom
Stealth in-tank pump, Fragola Teflon fuel lines and fittings, GM
wiring harness and factory-programmed computer. The body is
all-original GM and it was completely stripped with glass beads.
The driver's side firewall was pushed 3" forward. The paint is a
PPG custom mix and Global High Solids clear. The same attention to
detail was performed on the bottom side of the car, which was
painted with a black ceramic coating. All body gaps are excellent,
the body panels are laser-straight, and the fit and finish is
great. The engine bay was finished to high standards, and great
attention was paid to render the wiring nearly invisible. The hood
is push-button electric-operated, and the stainless and chrome on
the car is all-original and finished to high standards. The
interior of the car was done in Italian leather, with double
stitching on the dash and panels adding a custom touch. The seats
are concaved for additional seating room as well. Dynamat Extreme
and Jute backing were added for sound-deadening, and Dakota
Digital's new HDX matte silver gauge package was also installed.
Vintage Air Gen IV Super Cooler system with controls was integrated
for the original factory look. It has a new stereo made to look
like the original 1960 Wonder Bar stereo with Bluetooth, JL
amplifier, subwoofer and Focal speakers. The convertible top was
completely restored, powder-coated and has new bushings, latches
and a contrasting Navy Stayfast top that complements the car. This
Pro-Touring Corvette has 200 test miles since its completion.
