Vehicle Description
This 1957 Corvette was professionally built from the ground up. The
floors have been lowered 4", the seats moved back 2" and the
footwells extended to provide a favorable seating position for
taller drivers. The seats have been molded to fit the waterfall
with integrated shoulder belts for safety. Red leather covers the
interior, which contrasts well with the Supersonic Blue exterior
paint and new black cloth convertible top. Push-button start brings
to life a 6.2-liter Gen V LT1 engine that puts out 455 ft/lbs of
torque, backed by an 8-speed automatic transmission with paddle
shifter and side-exit exhaust with chrome bezels. The SRIII
Motorsports chassis was powder-coated in black chrome and fitted
with modern Corvette suspension, QA1 coilovers at all four corners
and upgraded brakes with 6-piston front and 4-piston rears with 14"
rotors. It rides on custom-made Schott Modsport wheels with
Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 tires. The fuel door has been hidden
under the hinged taillight for a clean look, and the bumpers have
been modified to fit tight to the body. The engine bay has a custom
red plenum cover. In the trunk is a handcrafted 3-piece set of
luggage built just for this car and covered in the same leather as
the interior, including the natural leather straps to hold them in
place.
