Vehicle Description
This 1969 Dodge Daytona is powered by its original matching-numbers
440ci engine with a 4-barrel carburetor backed by its original
console-shifted automatic transmission, both of which have been
fully restored. It's one of just 503 produced and features power
steering and brakes, the original hood and nose, and both correct
jacks, one for the extended nose and one for the rear bumper. The
Daytona was designed to launch Dodge to a higher level of
aerodynamics in NASCAR racing with a top speed of 200 mph. The
fender scoops, nose and hood design increase the front down force
and the rear wing controls the rear force.
