For Sale at Auction: 1970 Plymouth Road Runner in Scottsdale, Arizona

Vehicle Description

This is the one and only "Hellbird." Making its initial public appearance at the Mopar display at SEMA 2017, this vehicle was built to showcase the release of the most powerful crate engine that Mopar offered, the Hellcrate, and installed into this Superbird re-creation. This vehicle started life as a Road Runner and has been transformed into a rotisserie-restored Superbird re-creation. Mopar handpicked Graveyard Carz to build this monster, and it was featured on their television show. Powering this beast is the first-ever 707hp Hellcrate engine that Mopar produced, mated with a Tremec 6-speed manual transmission and a Dana 60 rear end with 3:54 gears. A Magnum Force K-frame with coilovers was used to upgrade the handling and stability that is needed with the added horsepower under the hood. Everything on the vehicle has been replaced or restored from top to bottom. A large amount of videos, literature and magazine articles surround this one-of-a-kind car..
