Vehicle Description
The extensive build on this 1967 Chevrolet C10 began with extensive
body modifications. The roof has been chopped and reshaped, the cab
floor was body dropped and the cab was stretched 5" for added leg
room. The doors have been stretched, reskinned and molded, and the
front fenders and grille have been hand-molded and house Jeep
Commander headlights. The bed has been reshaped and then skinned
and bead-rolled with custom wood inserts. Additional modifications
include hand-fabricated inner fender wells and firewall, and Nissan
custom-molded taillights. Under the hood resides an 8-cylinder
Corvette LS engine mated to a 4L60E automatic overdrive
transmission with a Stage 2 upgrade. The engine has been custom
painted with a custom-painted cover, and sports an electric fuel
pump, Flowmaster mufflers, and a Street & Performance and Vintage
Air front runner and serpentine belt system. This pickup comes
equipped with a 1972 C10 front crossmember, chrome-plated tubular
A-arms, chrome 3" drop spindle, front rack & pinion steering and a
Currie 9" rear end with Panhard bar. It has AccuAir air-ride
suspension with Slam Specialties airbags and Bilstein shocks at all
four corners. The AccuAir controls have stainless-steel hardline
plumbing on all fuel and brake lines. 4-wheel disc brakes with
chrome calipers provide the stopping power to the Boyd Coddington
Junkyard Dogs wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot sport tires. The
custom interior features bucket seats with center console, air-ride
controls, 1959 Impala dash, Auto Meter gages, tilt steering, hood
release, Vintage Air, power windows, remote door poppers and an
Alpine CD Bluetooth stereo system.
