All Original Car w/ Original Bill of Sale

The first year for the Toronado and the first American car produced with front wheel drive since the 1936 Cord. Recognized as a "Milestone Car" by the Milestone Car Society. Powered by a 425 ci V8 factory rated at an impressive 385 horsepower! Equipped with an automatic transmission, power steering & power brakes. The ‘66 Oldsmobile is an all original car, which came from a Doctors collection, where it has been well maintained and looked after. Finished in its original color, paint code "X" porcelain white with a blue vinyl and cloth interior. With the age has come some checking in the paint.

When it comes to a unique look, this classic 1966 Oldsmobile Toronado does the trick. It has great classic bodylines and one of the coolest looking front ends out there. All the lines, bumpers, trim, grill, and emblems are in place and in great condition. As you can see in the photos the hidden headlights work as well.

With a dual-snorkel air cleaner, an extra-large intake manifold, and twin exhaust pipes, the Toronado had a gross output of 385 horsepower--at least 10 horses higher than any other Old’s 425 engine--and 475 pound-feet of torque, five up on the Starfire's 425 V-8. The addition of a channel to the oil pan, the only major change to the 425, cleared space for the driveshaft.

Added features included draft-free ventilation system and an upgrade from the Starfire. The 425 V8 engine runs very strong with no smoking or problems. This V8 is painted in a matching blue style with the correct Toronado air cleaner. The THM425 3-speed automatic transmission shifts smoothly with no problems. All the lights and electrical are in place and working. The car has drum brakes on all four which slow the car to a stop with ease and no noise. The Blue interior is complete and all in good shape. The car is very comfortable to drive and ride in. The dash is all in its original style and in good condition. The car utilizes a rolling drum style speedometer which is unique to this classic. The original style radio is in place and sounds great. The Olds does have nonfunctioning air conditioning.

This classic won’t last long, call or email with any questions!
