Vehicle Description
This is a one-of-a-kind 1959 Corvette. The team that built this car
worked hand-in-hand with Corvette Correction in Seguin, TX, to pair
the original body with a state-of-the-art rolling chassis. The
custom frame was assembled with a brand-new LS3 engine and 4L65E
automatic transmission. Keeping communication is a custom harness
from Hot Rod Therapy and a TCI Automotive controller, allowing full
customization. The engine components have been thoughtfully dressed
to create a clean custom engine bay finished with a full firewall
delete, custom engine covers and electrically actuated hood.
Putting traction to the pavement is a set of BFGoodrich Pro Streets
wrapped around forged aluminum wheels from American Racing. Keeping
all 465bhp and 425 ft/lbs of torque under control is a full disc
brake system featuring a hidden electronic brake booster and a
polished master cylinder. On the outside, every inch of the car's
body has been completely restored. Custom Ruby Red Candy paint by
HCD Paintworks reflects the clean lines that have been established
through a complete "bone to chrome" overhaul of the fiberglass tub
and trim work. On the outside it's all Chevrolet 1959, but inside
the exterior-accent-matching pearl white leather interior by Al
Knoch surrounds the cockpit, complemented by hand-selected carpet
and floor panels. Modern improvements include custom JL Audio
speakers sending out the latest in XM sounds and Bluetooth
technology through a vintage RetroFit Radio, with backlit
electronic-controlled vintage analog displays from Classic
Industries. Among the modern creature comforts are an RFID
push-button starter, power door locks, power windows, electronic
push-button parking brake and front end pulley-controlled Vintage
Air. When clouds line the skies, enjoyment can continue with the
fully restored soft-top and hardtop. When night falls, the
high-output LED headlights, brake lights and reverse indicators
will light the way.
