Vehicle Description
Having undergone an extensive restoration, this 1968 GT500 is in
good condition throughout. Originally a home-office reserve
special-order car #00066, it was ordered with a 3.50:1 Traction-Lok
differential, a C6 automatic transmission, power steering and front
power disc brakes. It is powered by a 428ci V8 engine with 428 CJ
heads and exhaust manifold, and is documented with its Shelby
invoice, Window Sticker, Shelby American Build Sheet and a Deluxe
Marti Report. The black interior is presented with wood-grain
elements, a center console and a radio, and the glovebox door is
autographed by Carroll Shelby. This car only has 291 miles since
its comprehensive restoration, and is one of the 402 Shelby GT500
convertibles produced.
