This genuine 1967 21-Window Deluxe Samba Bus is a walk-through bus
that has undergone a complete rotisserie restoration, completed by
a Volkswagen restoration specialist in Gig Harbor, WA, in June
2018. The exterior is finished in two-tone Titian Red and cream.
The complete Mesh Platinum and Platinum Silver interior has been
professionally replaced/restored to factory condition, including
new sliding ragtop, headliner, carpet, panels and seats. All
exterior and interior chrome and stainless has been replaced or
restored using original or NOS parts. All window and body seals
were replaced with new. This Samba Bus was professionally painted
inside and out, including the new bumpers, which are painted in the
correct Silver White (L82). Features include a Safari pop-out
windshield, six pop-out windows, sliding ragtop, side door entry,
seating for nine passengers, eight skylights and a dash clock. The
entire undercarriage is as detailed as the rest of this bus, with
new belly pans, brake lines, battery, shocks, muffler, Optima
battery and Painless wiring harness, and coated with Raptor Liner
for durability. The 1776cc engine was professionally rebuilt in
June 2018 with less than 300 miles, and is mated to a 4-speed
manual transmission. This bus rides on new Michelin tires with new
German VW hubcaps.
