Vehicle Description
This 1963 Chevy C10 short-bed Resto-Mod is the product of a
frame-off, nut-and-bolt build completed October 2018. This truck
has always lived in Arizona and was a single-family-owned barn find
in Globe, AZ. It's powered by a 6.0-liter LS1 engine with cathedral
ports, drive-by-wire, fuel injection, decked heads, hydraulic
lifters, billet serpentine pulley system, a rear fuel tank, COMP
cam, stainless headers and custom side-dump exhaust with Cherry
Bomb pipes. The engine is backed by a 4L60E automatic transmission.
This C10 features air conditioning, electronic cruise control,
painted tilt column, power steering and 4-wheel Wilwood power disc
brakes. The frame was stripped and powder-coated, with tubular
A-arm coil, lowered front suspension, sway bars up front and
traction bar trailing-arm rear end. It has a fresh 12-bolt
differential with custom Ford brake flanges and new 5-bolt axles
with posi-traction. It's riding on 5-lug 20" custom wheels wrapped
in Nitto tires. The interior features power leather seats,
custom-fabricated steel dash, center console with iPod Pioneer
iPlay media deck with backup camera and touchscreen, 300-watt
subwoofer, new carpet and powder-coated silver brightwork. This
original 2-hump dash, "Knee Knocker" cab, with untouched OEM VIN
tag, has a custom metal media center with a retractable cup holder
designed to hold all the electronics. The entire vehicle was
media-blasted piece by piece, prior to the application of the House
of Kolor black paint, and each piece of sheet metal is finished on
both sides inside and out. It has a new oak bed with matching
powder-coated trim and stainless hardware. It was custom-designed
and professionally built, including an all-new engine, chassis and
lighting harness. The electronic cruise control is on the turn
signal lever, and a full set of new Dolphin digital gauges are
housed in a ball-milled billet powder-coated panel with old-school
indicator needles, along with LED lighting throughout. Every piece
of rubber and hardware is new.
