Vehicle Description
A professional frame-off restoration was performed with no expense
spared to upgrade this classic Bel Air into a modern-driving
Resto-Mod. It's powered by a GM high-performance LS1 electronic
fuel-injected, all-aluminum engine with cast-iron sleeves that puts
out an estimated 425hp, mated to a GM 4L60E automatic transmission.
Ceramic-coated long tube headers flow through a 3" custom MagnaFlow
exhaust. This Bel Air is equipped with a CPP Hydroboost brake
booster with Corvette drilled and slotted disc brakes in the front
and rear. It sits on a Paul Newman Design custom Corvette
suspension in both the front and rear, with power rack & pinion
steering, Corvette Dana 44 rear differential with 3.50 gears, and
rides on 18" Foose wheels. The frame and components have all been
powder-coated. The exterior is finished in GM Wild Fire Red base
coat/clear coat paint. It has a new stainless-steel fuel tank and
all lines, hoses and fittings are new. The custom interior features
6-way electric adjustable bucket seats, center console, billet dash
with Dakota Digital gauges, chrome Flaming River tilt steering
column with custom steering wheel, Dynamat insulation, custom
carpets, and new glass and trim. It also features air conditioning
and heat, and a custom-upholstered trunk. **TITLED AS A 1957
CHEVROLET STREET ROD**
