For Sale at Auction: 1966 Chevrolet Corvette in Scottsdale, Arizona

This 1966 Corvette coupe is powered by a matching-numbers 427/425hp engine mated to a 4-speed manual transmission. The engine is correct with an upgraded hydraulic roller cam, and the entire drivetrain was restored and detailed according to NCRS guidelines. This Corvette was purchased from original owner's family in 2013 following long-term dry storage in Arizona. It was always a California and Arizona car with a rust-free chassis. It was then treated to a frame-off restoration, retaining as many original parts as possible, along with the use of many NOS parts. The body received professional paintwork, leaving the doors and headlight buckets intact to retain the original body lines and door alignment. The interior retains its originality, with only the carpet being replaced, and features power windows and an AM/FM radio. The original bumpers were rechromed and all of the original stainless trim was polished. All emblems and taillights were replaced with NOS GM parts, and all of the original fasteners removed during disassembly were cataloged, cleaned, plated and reused during assembly to retain originality.
