Vehicle Description
This 1965 Mustang GT350SR was ordered in mid-2004. Finished in
black with gold stripes, this GT350SR has been in the current
owner's collection since it was purchased from Unique Performance.
It was ordered with a 408ci small-block engine that is based on the
351 Windsor platform. The engine was dressed in Shelby aluminum
valve covers and polished billet accessories, including air
conditioning. It is also equipped with a Holley 4-barrel carburetor
and aluminum intake setup. The engine is mated to a Tremec TKO
series 5-speed manual transmission. With guidance from Keisler, a
new gear set for the Currie Traction-Lok rear end was installed to
make the car more user-friendly. The shifter was also changed out
to the taller factory shifter. There has not been a stone left
unturned on this car since it was assembled at Unique Performance
back in 2004.
