Vehicle Description
This Chevrolet CRC COPO Camaro is one of 20 CRC cars produced in
2013 by GM at the COPO facility in Oxford, MI. The COPO Camaro is
designed to NHRA racing specifications, including a full chromoly
roll cage certified to 8.50. The chassis has front-to-rear subframe
connectors that are tied together to make it stronger and less
likely to flex. It's also equipped with Strange adjustable coilover
front struts, manual lightweight rack & pinion steering assembly,
Eliminator suspension, Strange 9" 4-bar rear-end assembly with
adjustable top-link Panhard bar and double adjustable coilover
shocks. The rear subframe is modified to accept unique COPO NHRA
stocks. A set of Strange lightweight vented rotors and billet
4-piston lightweight calipers provide stopping power to the Bogart
Racing lightweight wheels wrapped in Hoosier tires with radial
slicks in the rear. This COPO Camaro is powered by an LSX 454ci
engine that produces 620hp, backed by a Coan Turbo 400 automatic
transmission with a Reid Bell case, reverse pattern, manual valve
body, extra-light 6.7" overdrive aluminum drums, heavy-duty
34-element sprag and a 4500 stall converter. It's equipped with a
deep-sump cast-aluminum oil pan, Holley fuel injection, EFI
throttle body and engine management system and Hi-Ram intake
manifold, LS7 ignition coils, RJS safety equipment, 3" seat belt,
