Vehicle Description
This 1967 Jaguar XKE fixed-head coupe underwent a complete cosmetic
and mechanical restoration, and starts, idles, runs and drives
well. It has been driven less than 1,000 miles since the
restoration. This matching-numbers Series 1 is powered by a
4.2-liter V6 engine mated to a 4-speed manual transmission. It is
equipped with triple carburetors, synchronized first gear, wire
wheels and covered headlights. It is one of 4,249 Series 1 LHD
fixed-head coupes that were built in their six year run. During
restoration, this Jaguar received a new windshield, new black
interior, new ceramic header, new stainless exhaust and new wire
wheels and tires. The entire drivetrain was rebuilt including an
all-new cooling system, the radio was replaced with a
vintage-appearing modern unit and the exterior color was changed
from white to red.
