Vehicle Description
This car was a very original Bel Air prior to an extensive
nut-and-bolt restoration performed several years ago. It retains
its original sheet metal, with the exception of the driver front
fender. The body is straight with nice gaps. The hood, doors and
trunk lid open and close well. The factory-correct Dusk Plum and
India Ivory paint combination is stunning. The glass, with the
exception of the passenger door glass, is original and in good
condition. Both the front and rear bumper are original and were
rechromed. The correct Charcoal and Ivory interior is in good
condition and features gauges, horn, directionals, heat, radio and
clock. The trunk compartment is nicely detailed with the correct
matching spare tire, stickers and trunk mat. The engine compartment
is highly detailed and home to the original 265ci Power Pack V8
engine. This engine wasn't rebuilt, but refreshed, and it starts
and runs well. The engine is coupled to the original 3-speed manual
transmission and rear end. Factory-style correct power steering was
added during the restoration for easy operation purposes. The
undercarriage is also highly detailed and has been finished in the
correct red oxide paint. It has 79,815 original miles. A select
offering from the Bryan Frank Collection.
