Vehicle Description
This award-winning, custom 1955 Bel Air 2-door post underwent a
frame-off restoration. Its original restored body is finished in
two-tone Viper Red and black paint over a restored black and red
interior. No expense was spared on beefing up the 383ci V8 engine,
which sports an Eagle 400 crank, 671 Weiand blower, Hooker headers
with 3" electric cutouts, twin Quick-Flow blower carburetors,
Pro-Performance heads, Probe pistons, Howard cam, roller
rockers/timing chain, Harlan Sharp rockers and MSD ignition.
Putting the power to the pavement is a Turbo 400 automatic
transmission with a floor-mounted Hurst shifter. This Bel Air is
also equipped with a Chevy 10-bolt posi-traction rear end, power
steering, power front disc brakes, new wiring harness, aluminum
radiator, chrome Ididit tilt steering column and chrome Cragar
wheels. This vehicle took home the Best Overall Street Award at the
2017 Piston Powered car show in Cleveland, OH. The heater and radio
are not hooked up but are included. The sale includes a
color-matching stock 1955 Chevy hood with all-chrome trim.
