Seller Description: 1978 Volkswagen Super Beetle Convertible with
11,950 miles. This was a typical barn or garage find found by an
Atlantic City Judge back in 2006. He purchased this with only 9,614
miles on it. I have copy of his title showing the mileage. He drove
it to work which is only 1 mile daily until he stop driving in 2008
because of Alzheimer disease. He refused to let his wife sell it
til he got worse in 2011. Then I came along and bought it as
investment. Mileage was 11,400 by then. It's always been garage
kept and you can hardly see much rust under the car. Very Clean and
everything works except interior light. Drives flawlessly and
smooth. The convertible top and interior lining is in great
condition as seen in pictures. When I bought it installed a new
battery, master cylinder, did an oil change in motor and tranny,
lube, gas filter, air cleaner- drained and replace brake fluid and
few others to keep it in shape. I believe I'm the 3rd owner. First
from Ohio, then NJ then me in PA. We want to sell it because we
need room in garage.
