This 1967 Buick GS400 is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom.
Buick was always known for their comfort and well-polished interior
but as with all car manufacturers in the 60's they had to adapt to
the market. The market then was all about big engines and big
power, welcome the GS 400. This example was owned by the same
family since new only to be sold to the current owner 4 years ago.
The car was originally bought here in Louisville KY with the BOS
included in the sell. Still wearing the original sheet metal, the
cars lines are extremely straight with the blue having been
repainted about 10 years ago the car still shows extremely well.
The white vinyl top really makes the blue jump out. With the all of
the trim having a nice luster this GS is ready to turn heads. Under
the hood lies the original and sought after 400 making 340 hp and a
tire shredding 440 LB-FT of torque. With distinctive and commonly
referred to Star Wars air cleaner sitting on top this GS is as cool
as they come. The 2-speed transmission was replaced with a brand
new TH400 giving this Buick that extra gear. Open the door and the
interior of the Buick explains why many call it the gentleman's
Muscle car. The bucket seats are separated by a console with the
distinctive shifter placed in the ideal spot. These 67 GS400's to
many people is what many consider the best Buick Muscle car built.
The mix of style and comfort really signified what Buick is all
about. If you want something cool but don't want to pull up next to
one at the car show, then this Buick GS400 is the car. Options on
