Vehicle Description
Crisp and clean lines define the style of this year Nova. Dressing
it in white accentuates the look even more. Add in some SS
hardware, and it becomes a potent little compact muscle car. Check
it out.
Checking this car out from the side reveals the crisp clean lines
of the body and the aggressive rake of the chassis. Ermine White is
the factory original color of this car and it has been recoated
with it only after hours of meticulous preparation assured that it
would shine this bright and look this good when it was done. Up
front the eggcrate grill has a Chevy II and an SS badge on it which
is underlined by simple chrome bumper. The hood flows up and back
with a power bulge and cowl induction air intake at the base of the
windshield. Chrome trims out the wheel wells and runs along the
rocker panels. The roof slopes down to the smooth expanse of the
trunk lid and a speckled gray rectangular panel on the rear echoes
the rectangles of the taillights and another sharp looking chrome
bumper.
Open the door and you will find more of the crisp and clean in this
Black interior. The door panel is simple with slashes of chrome
along the top and bottom while a white accent stripe runs
vertically just in front of the armrest. The buckets in the car are
beautiful as well as comfortable, featuring a white accent stripe
running right down the center of black seats with a smooth vinyl
centers and pleated side bolsters. The three-spoke steering wheel
has an SS horn button and it sits in front of a simple stock dash
of a speedometer with control knobs in a row under it and a Delco
Chevy II AM radio off toward the center. A sleek black and silver
center console holds the T-handle shifter for the automatic
transmission and a tight headliner and sharp looking carpets tie
the look together very nicely.
Open the hood and you will find a 350 cubic inch motor nestled down
in a neat and clean engine bay. We're talking like seriously clean!
The glossy white firewall as well as the inner fenders really shine
and that makes the Chevy Orange and machined aluminum of the motor
really pop. There is an Edelbrock finned aluminum air topper as
well as Edelbrock finned valve covers topping the motor. A Holley
4-barrel carburetor feeds an Edelbrock Performer intake while long
tube headers leading to Flowmaster mufflers give the car a healthy
sound. Power flows back through a 2-speed Powerglide automatic to
the rear wheels that are sitting on fresh leaf springs with new
bushings. The front end received its share of love too with fresh
ball joints, tie rods and sway bar hardware as well as a good brake
service on the front discs. The rubber meets the road through
255/45ZR17s in the back and 215/45R17s in the front mounted on
those great looking B/G chrome wheels.
This is a super nice example of a '67 Nova Super Sport. Come on
down and check it out.
