For Sale: 1969 Chevrolet Camaro in Charlotte, North Carolina

Vehicle Description

Looking for a super sharp cruiser that you can parade down Main Street and park at local cruise nights? Looking for a cool piece of Americana that'll turn heads anywhere it goes? A professionally built classic that delivers on every level, this sweet Camaro is the kind of car that's simply a blast to own! Backing 396 cubic inches of buff Chevy big block with an upgraded chassis and vivid aesthetics, this fully sorted panther draws big crowds and big compliments. And if you're looking for an impressive muscle car that'll fare well on the road AND at the show, it's the answer to your car guy dreams!

ORANGE CRUSH

The beneficiary of a professional rotisserie restoration, this solid F1's slick orange body is the product of A LOT of time spent sweating details. From its straight seams to its flat panels, the car's metal displays hours of skilled craftsmanship. And bright 2-stage provides a durable, mirror-like shine that's poised to last for years. At the front of that pigment, a black grille hangs bright headlights and a bold "SS" emblem above a polished bumper, clear parking lamps and a familiar D80 chin spoiler. At the top of that grille, a chrome-trimmed Super Sport Hood bridges the gap between a familiar "Camaro BY CHEVROLET" header and stainless-trimmed glass that's capped in black canvas. At the sides of that hood, a correct mirror and traditional door handles reflect tasteful marker lamps, optional quarter louvers and ornate fender emblems. And at the back of the car, a Satin Black valance centers a fourth "SS" emblem between chrome-trimmed taillights, a guarded bumper and a correct D80 deck spoiler.

BIG BLOCK POWER

In its heyday, Chevrolet's 396 cubic inch big block played the role of all things to all people. Introduced in 1965, it was marketed as a top-of-the-line performance offering in Chevrolet's Corvette line, was widely used in Chevy's immensely popular Chevelle line, and even found its way under the hood of tough Chevrolet trucks. Stare in to this Camaro's Satin Black engine bay and you'll find 396 cubic inches of painted and polished power! Torque manifests when air whips through a polished air cleaner, which rides a coated Holley 4-barrel that's wired to polished fluid lines. That air/fuel mixture travels to an Edelbrock Performer RPM intake, which rides between cast iron heads, polished valve covers and polished breathers. A traditional points distributor sequences sparks between a Pertronix Flame Thrower II coil and thick MSD Super Conductor plug wires. Spent gases roar through coated Hooker Super Competition headers. Cooling comes courtesy of a beefy Griffin radiator. And details like a polished dipstick, a modern alternator and a deep-sump oil pan mix proven reliability with all-star appeal.

BETTER THROUGH TIME

Park this Chevy on a lift and you'll find solid, Satin Black floorpans that provide a fitting backdrop for fresh, first rate hardware. Behind the buff big block, a tough Muncie 4-speed twists power to a Moser 9-inch axle that's built with a posi-traction differential and friendly, 3.25 gears. Beneath that drivetrain, a reimagined suspension employs factory power steering opposite a 4-link rear-clip that's finished with a stiff Panhard bar and Koni coil-over-shocks. At the corners of that suspension, two GM calipers squeeze drilled and slotted rotors while two Wilwood calipers squeeze vented rotors. Charred dinosaurs float from the aforementioned headers in to hearty mufflers via straight, large-diameter pipes. Torque transitions through attractive Billet Specialties Street Lites, which spin 235/45ZR17 Nitto NT555 Extreme ZRs in front of 315/35ZR17 Nitto NT555 Extreme ZRs. And items like sturdy subframe connectors and high quality mini tubs make it obvious this Chevy's restoration was a well-planned build.

DELUXE TRIMMINGS

Pop the doors and you'll find a stylish Deluxe Interior that wraps upgraded bucket seats in a sea of vintage flash. In front of those seats, a wood-trimmed dash hangs fully rebuilt telemetry above an old school Delco radio. Below that dash, a correct console founds modern Sunpro accessory gauges in front of a polished Hurst shifter. Opposite that console, Deluxe side panels trace chrome handles in straight stainless trim. Those components are framed in tight carpet and Chevrolet-themed floor mats. And in front of the driver, a 3-spoke steering wheel laps a tilting column.
