This 1926 Ford Sedan Steering Rod is a nice riding car. The Car was built in 1988 in Ohio. I purchased the car and brought it to Texas. It has a 350 engine, but it might be a 327. Electric Fuel pump and 1 - 4bbl Edelbrock Carburator. The ram style exhaust headers are chromed. It is an Automatic and drives good. I have the full hood for it and also I purchased a top section only for that open engine look. The rear end is a 8" Ford that is chromed with coil over shocks. The front steering is a Mustang II rack and Pinion with disc brakes in the front with chromed control arms. The rear brakes are drums. The floor shift is from a Mustang T selector style. The tires are about 5 years old. All gauges are Dolphin and work. The steering column is Ford with Turn Signals. New gauges in dash. Does not have Air Conditioning unless you open the windows and the front windshield. This is an ALL STEEL CAR. NO FIBERGLASS. Frame is custom Z with 4 link rear suspension. RUNS & DRIVES GREAT. Pretty snappy too....
The interior is blue and still has the original style seats. The windows are etched and tinted. I was told that this car was built in the 80's and was a show car back then. I have driven it to many local car shows and a few times to Cruisin' the Coast in Mississippi. Car is very quick to drive.
