Vehicle Description
The Buick Riviera was a large stylish American sports coupe that
was extremely well regarded by automobile experts all around the
world. High profile designers such as Sergio Pininfarina declared
it as one of the most beautiful American cars ever built. The
second generation Riviera hit the market in 1966 and retained iths
cruciform X-frame, powertrain, and brakes but introduced an all
new, curvaceous body. Longer, lower, and wider, the new model was
instantly loved and sales rebounded.
GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this lovely 1968 Riviera for
your consideration. It is powered by its 430CID v8 (360hp 4 BBL)
paired with an automatic transmission. The car is well documented,
it comes with the original purchase agreement and original window
sticker! Also comes with the metal protect-o-plate and dealer
invoice. The car was repainted in 2012 in white pearl and shows
very well. In 2006 the transmission was rebuilt and has a $1,086
receipt showing this. The car was factory undercoated when new and
remains in solid condition. The car rides on brand new Armerican
Racing 17 inch rally wheels with new tires as well. Other
highlights include Edelbrock aluminum intake, Air conditioning,
power steering, power brakes, front bucket seats and center
console. This is a great American Classic and is sure to
please.
