1967 Ford Mustang 390 Convertible
Garage Kept Motors is pleased to present a rare first generation
Mustang drop-top for consideration. This 1967 Ford Mustang 390
Convertible is originally from Atlanta, Georgia, purchased new by a
Delta Airlines Pilot. Note the stickers still displayed in the
front windshield. The car went from Georgia to Florida and then to
the General Manager of Russ Milne Ford in Detroit, MI. The car was
in storage for 20 years before our client acquired it several years
ago. There is no accident damage and no rust repair done or needed
on any surface.
Two years ago, the car was repainted the factory original Lime Gold
paint. The original white top was replaced with a brand new black
one with real rear glass. The Ivory Gold interior is 100-percent
original and untouched. Shows very well for its age. The car also
has the original side moldings and original tinted glass. Bumpers
were re-chromed when the body was resprayed. The fit and finish on
this car is very nice, and the color combination brings you back to
when a Mustang was really a Mustang. Drop the power convertible top
and really feel the nostalgia. However, what really sets this car
apart though, are the options and the motor.
This Mustang is powered by the original, numbers matching S-Code
390ci/320hp 4bbl V8 engine mated to a floor shifted C-6
Cruise-O-Matic automatic transmission with a factory 9-inch rear
end. The car fires on command and runs smooth. No issues
whatsoever. And now the options, straight off the Marti Report:
Selectaire Air Conditioning, Courtesy Light Group, Rocker Panel
Moulding, Center Console, Deluxe Steering Wheel, Power Disc Brakes,
Power Steering, Deluxe Seat Belts, AM Radio, and Interior/Exterior
Decor Group. You will not find many with these options and this
powerplant.
Actually, this is one of 421 Mustang Convertibles to have a Big
Block Motor and Air Conditioning. Super rare car. It has been
preserved with great care and at the price we are asking, will
surely appreciate in value for years to come. Have fun with your
investment! Be sure to check out all the photos and video on our

any questions. Thank you for looking.
