Gateway Classic Cars of Ft. Lauderdale is proud to offer a
beautiful rugged 1977 Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser. This grey FJ is a
very nice example of a classic Land Cruiser. Toyota rolled out the
FJ40 series in 1960 and competed with the likes of Land Rovers,
Jeeps, and later the Ford Bronco and Chevrolet K10 Blazer. The FJ
is a rugged, two door, 4x4 vehicle with amazing off-road
capabilities. The new paint is paired to a beautifully restored
brown leather interior. The front sports two bucket seats and the
rear has "jump seats" which can be folded aside for more cargo
space. Under the hood of this particular Land Cruiser you'll find
the matching numbers 6-cylinder engine which is backed by a 4-speed
manual transmission and a 4x4 transfer case. The engine was
recently rebuilt and has less than 100 miles on it. This powerful
SUV will take you just about anywhere you want to go. This FJ would
make a great weekend runabout or a daily driver, although
considered very basic on the interior amenities, this truck will
put most new 4x4s to shame off pavement. Vintage 4x4s are in high
demand and harder to find. Luckily this Toyota has been well
preserved and is ready for many more years of duty. Let it ride!!!
