Now available in our Dallas-Showroom is this sweet Mopar- 1965
Dodge Coronet 500 convertible! This Coronet 500 is 1 of 1,403
convertible's produced back in 1965. Three separate series were
availablethe base Coronet, Coronet 440, and Coronet 500with the
main differences between trims being additional chrome trim and
carpeting on the 440 and bucket seats and a center console on the
sportier 500. According to the owner, this 500 has had a good chunk
of change spent on it during restoration and had some significant
work completed to spruce it up and make this Mopar ready to tear up
the streets again. It's powered by the original 318 Polyhead V8
engine and its original 3-speed automatic transmission. Just a tap
of the gas pedal and you'll get plenty of response from the 2-
Edelbrock 4-barrel carburetors and Street Grind cam. Other upgrades
on the engine include, Molly-Push rods, .30 over pistons, Dual quad
intake, & Ceramic coated headers and exhaust. This beast also come
with 3.23 positraction rear end. The transmission has been built
for a 500 HP vehicle, with shift kit and 2500 stall. As you can
tell, this Coronet 500 has plenty of life underneath the hood and
is a joy to cruise. While cruising, take time to settle in and get
cozy on the solid white vinyl interior seats, which are highlighted
by the contrasting black dash, carpet, "Mopar" steering-wheel and
even matching floor mats which read "Coronet" upfront. Want the
wind in your hair or prefer to limit the amount? You can easily
choose either with a flick of a switch and automatic power-top
option. All this sets on an excellent set of Cragar Mag wheels.
